1984 Toyota BJ60 Landcruiser in Brandon, MB

$5,000

Seller note:

19 May 2011

Update ? Work has keep me away from home since beginning March. Have tried to respond to all via a so-called smart phone.

A geographical relocation is forcing the sale of my Landcruiser.

I am looking at selling my 1984 BJ60. Truck has under [removed phone]km on it (there is one in Manitoba right now going for over $5000 with over [removed phone]km on it!). Anyhow here is the long and the short of it.

PRO?S
Solid Drive train
3.4L 4 cyl Diesel Engine (the legendary Toyota3B engine)
Canadian model (left handdrive)
Just serviced by a diesel shop
Previous Owner was an Electrician who used it as a work vehicle - interior is good and I have been using it with the family as both my Daily Driver and Weekend camping
Daily commute is mostly on secondary highways (paved) no problems getting to highway speeds and staying there. When camping you shouldn't be in a rush to get anywhere. Can cruise on the highway at [removed phone] km/h
Just replaced one of the two batteries with a MotorMaster Eliminator Spiral - starts with no issues in the -40 temps we have
Lovingly maintained (its a Landcruiser after all) - only use Shell Rotella T Synthetic Diesel Oil and PowerService Diesel Fuel supplements (both winter and summer) - never had an issue with getting parts through the local Canadian
Frame is solid
New Windsheild ? Dec 2010
New Tires - BFG T/A KO (Winter Rated) - Summer 2010

CONS
The body is rough when you look at it closely - normal Landcruiser issues with the rear quarter panels repaired with a home made job; as well the rocker panels have had a bastardized repair to it. It looks fine in the parking lot (and invisible in the winter). Had a body shop look at it and they quoted me under $1000 to fix everything with metal vice
bondo - forced move with work has put that project off.
Picture is crap but that's what dell phones do I guess.

Although not at home the truck is located at work and my wife can access (and sell it) if required.

I was offering to delivery to Regina or Winnipeg but after one wasted day driving to Regina with two cars and the ?alleged buyer? never showing I am rescinding that offer?..
